brought to you by Eric Hedlund and the Dakota Players
15th Annual For the fifteenth year, we have the honor of presenting four very different approaches to one instrument. This year's players will be announced here first! Check back in January, 2012 for the latest. Last Year, 2011 2011 featured legendary local Vern Juran, ecletic fretless player Neil Haverstick, blues and classical guitarist James Van Nuys, and a family duo featuring stunning electric guitarist Drew Lerdal and his more traditional but equally skilled father Don Lerdal. Each of these musicians brings something uniquely their own, and the round robin format provides the audience with a deeper appreciation for the artistic choices each player makes. For more information on Guitar Masters, contact Darla Drew Lerdal 605-348-7515 ddrewlerdal@rushmore.com Tickets for both events are available at the Dahl (713 Seventh St, Rapid City; 605-394-4101 x 200) or online at http://www.thedahl.org. Tickets are $17 each or two for $30. (You can go to both nights! You can take a friend! You can make it a date! How about taking that guitar-loving kid of yours?) Women Behaving Badly Each October, Backroom co-sponsors a fundraiser for Readiatrics Book Drive or the Dacoda Instrument Drive. Both of these worthy causes provide something very important for children in the Black Hills - books and musical instruments. We are proud to be associated with such great causes, and will provide more information here on this year's fundraiser as it becomes available. Voices of the
